Healing Prayer for Bro. Court Wood

I, Sis. K. Elizabethamma and my family members and all congregation believers are praying for your and for your family members. Please convey our thanks and Greetings to all Staff of In Jesus Name Ministries, Donors and their families.  I and all our widow women in the congregation praising the Lord, for His mercy and love on us and on all people in India. We thanked the Lord for His great protection. 

I am thankful and praising the Lord for the great service to Him to glorify His name.  I was conducted a special fasting prayers on 15 16 17 of this month and large number of people attended as, this is a festival month.  In this meeting, I and my grand children, the believers are put our hands on the Christmas greeting clothes and prayed.  We believe that our Lord give much more blessings through these Christmas clothes to you and to your family members.  We thanked the Lord for this opportunity.

We came to know that our Director Rev. Court F Wood suffering with illness.  I and all my family members with grand children prayed for his recovery and healing.  We believe that our lord may give him healing and blessed new energy to do more works and service to the poor pastors in India.

Praise the Lord.       Halleluiah.

Eye operation

Sis. K.Elizabethamma, after two days of operation

        On 14.10.2011, I was underwent an eye operation again. I was joined on 13.10.11 in GOWTHAMI NETRALAYAM (Eye Hospital), Rajahmundry for the eye problem.  My left eye was lost vision and giving much pain and trouble to me.  Doctors examined my eye position and advised me to prepare for eye operation.  On their advise and care, I was underwent my left eye operation on 14.10.2011 and discharged on 15.10.2011. since one week, I was taken rest in the home.  By the grace of Lord, this operation was success.  Slowly I am relieving from pains and getting clear eye sight.  Thank God and Thank you all for your prayers too.  Previously on 13.8.2010, my right eye was operated successfully and God blessed me with good eye sight.  Your prayers are fruitful in my eye operation.  I was purchased the medicines for the operation and now taking some more medicines as a course of medicines. Please kindly pray for the health position.

I am praising the Lord for the great opportunity given to me an opportunity to write this letter to your blessed hands and for the gospel service. I am working the Lord’s service since 1989 as dedicated to His service.

I was born and married in Hindu Customs and blessed 5 children (two sons and three daughters). But my children are not educated and living in poverty and hardly leading their families. In the year 1985, my husband expired leaving all children to me. In that shock, I got some illness of blood tumor in my body and No doctor cure my sickness. At that my neighbour, asked me to attend the church and asked me to believe on the Jesus Christ, the Almighty. Our Lord miraculous showed His mercy upon me and talked within three months to me and gave me vision many times. I read the bible every day and prayed the Lord and asking Him my healing. In all the visions, our Lord promised me to heal my sick and give me a great and new energy and health. By His promise fulfillment, my sickness decreased and my health is restoring miraculously. I and our neighbour people really surprised about my healing and miracle. Since then, I am a great and strong believe in Lord and praying continuously. All my family members took baptism and living as a children of Christ and enjoyed the Christ Love. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. Philomena 1:25

In the year 1989, I was started a small congregation with widows, at Dowlaiswaram in a labour colony. After four years, I was settled at Satellite city and established a small church in the area.

All our believers are attending to the prayers. As I have grownup children, I performed my children marriage with much hardship. Due to that ill luck, two of our daughters’ husbands left them and leave children with them. By these tycoons in our life, our Lord saved me with His protected hands. I and my daughters and their children are working for the church and developing the congregation. As our believers are so poor and living poverty, they are unable to give any love offerings to me and to our church.

At present, we are in need of some church needs like sound system. Most of the congregation are Widows and poor women. As a lady, I know their troubles and know their problem, I am encouraging them in prayer and asking our Lord to heal and protect them. We are crying before the Lord every time we are in danger and trouble.

2Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2.  Please kindly pray for us and our church believers and extend your helping hand to our Lord’s service and give encouragement to our Lord’s service. I am praying the Lord and believe in Him, that He will certainly inspire you to give your encouragement to my Lord.

This months Donors of IJNM

I am happy to submit my work report to you and to our sponsored donors of IN JESUS NAME MINISTRIES. I was conducted a special thanksgiving prayer meeting in Sunday worship prayers. Entire congregation is praying for the safety of US people and country. Each and every believer is glorifying the Lord’s name and His love towards the poor and meek.

"For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield." - Psalm 5:12
 

After the Sunday worship prayer, I was distributed rice to the poor widow women in the congregation, because all these women suffered and suffering with lack of labour Please pray for all these women and needy people in the congregation. I am enclosing the photo for your prayers.

I am happy to submit my work report.  On Sunday worship day, 25.9.11, all our believers were attended and prayed the Lord.  Every one in the worship prayers praising the Lord and glorify His name and thanked the Lord for His great protection for all these days in the year 2011.  After the worship prayers, I was distributed the vegetables to the poor believers and old aged people in the congregation.

"I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness." - Jeremiah 31:3

As you see that I am living in a small thatched hut for all these days and now it is in damaged state due to the rains.  Its roof is fully damaged and unable to protect the rainy water in the season.  We are praying the Lord for your mercy upon this need.

On 20.8.2011 Saturday, I was arranged a small love feast to the believers and bread to the Sunday school children. 

  

All our believers are praying for the needs of the congregation, because, in our congregation, most men are daily labourers and women are widows. So this rainy season is very hard to them due to the lack of labour works to earn their daily bread.  We are living in the remote and slum area, no bus facilities and medical hospitals.  Most of the labourers are living in this area and thrown out from the good society.  So we are living in a dirt conditions.  Please pray for us and for our living.

Children Bible Class

This month (May) is a summer vacation month to the children.  Their schools are closed after the final examinations.  Some of the children playing in the streets and in the sun heat.  The parents of the children are very much struggled to protect them from the sun heat and other atmospheric conditions in these hot days.  In this view of the situation, I am conducting children bible classes to all the children in the congregation and the surrounding people.  Every day, I am conducting a special hour to the children and I am preaching the spiritual stories from the Bible.  These children really enjoyed the stories and learn the moral in the stories.  I am telling most stories on the Lord Jesus Christ and His life history.  Children interesting listening the miracles of the Lord in His days.  I hope these classes will use to improve their knowledge and spiritual love on the Lord and bible, and also to avoid them from the outside atmosphere like sun strokes etc.  I am distributing the cakes and milk or soft drink to them every day. 

Please pray for the children growth in Him.

I and my family members felt very sad after absorbed the news. My family members and widow women cried before the Lord for the demise of Bro. Francies.

 

“And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty nine years: and he died” Gen 5:27.  Through this verse, we know that Methuselah lived 969 years and left for god.  In the same way, Moshe also lived for 120 years and reached the kingdom of the Lord.  

Ps 901:10 “The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they are fourscore years, yet is their strength labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.” 

Job 14:5 “Seeing his days are determined, the number of his months are with you, you have appointed his bounds that he cannot pass;” 

Ps 39:4-5 “LORD, make me to know my end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am. ⁵Behold, you have made my days as a handbreadth; and my age is as nothing before you: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah”  

1 kings 2:2 “I go the way of all the earth: be strong therefore, and show yourself a man”

We are in deep sorrow for the demise of the Brother Francies.  1 the 4:13, 18 “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others who have no hope… Therefore comfort one another with these words.”. 

We know that in this earthly life, we went for him one after another. But Lord ordered us not to disturb the soul of the man. John 14:1, 5 “Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me … Thomas said to him, Lord, we do not know where you are going, and how can we know the way?” 

So please strong in Lord and we believe that our Lord be with us. I am in deep sorrow with this incident. All our believers also in deep sorrow and praying for your family.

After hearing the news, I was conducted a memorial prayer for his family in regard to the demise of Bro. Francies. We felt that you are our sister given by the Lord in spirit. We are sharing your sorrow and burden in this regard. May Lord be with you and give compassion to all his family members and we are expressing our condolences this incident in Lord.

I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them to babes

I am submitting a pitiable situation of one of our widows in the congregation.  Her name is DATTATREYA, aged 60 having no children and husband died 25 years ago. Since our congregation established, she is attending to our church since 15 years. She took baptism at that time and joined in our Christ family. She is a great and genuine and believer to the Lord. Some times, she is accompanying me in the Lord’s service and house visiting. She was worked as a house wife in the age, but now she is in old age and now depending upon our church help.  Every month I am helping her with a small help from my monthly offerings.  Due to the old age, she is facing so many health problems, and we unable to help every time she fallen sick, as we still facing heavy financial troubles.  Whenever she is in sick, we fully depending upon the church and Lord’s mercy.  We prayed for her recovery and healing.  Every time, our Lord blessed her and saved and survived her from the sickness. She is struggling for her life and for daily bread.  She needs any small help for her ending days in her life.  Please pray for her.
